Nonsense replaces correct spelling

My iPhone 6s is replacing correctly spelled words with nonsense when typing. Tried many times to correct this issue but no success.

Go to Settings>General>Keyboards. Below All Keyboards, there is an option to turn Auto-Correction off. Hope this helps!

I’d prefer not turning it completely off I may as well stop using text at all
