Autofill password not working on ios14

Safari, I’ve read. Has to be not on private browsing. Or something to that extent. It’s some safari setting. Why that matters in a app? I don’t know. It may be something in your App Store setting. Or, Further in safari that is stopping it.

try to toggle third party or cookies. Try it all. Good luck.

Goto settings->Passwords click autofill passwords

Unfortunately, there’s a regression. Sure, you can make the passwords sync but then upon every password challenge - you now have to scroll in the alphabetical list of all possible passwords instead of it being specific to the domain that you’re looking at!?

Apple is preventing that,,,

auto fill is on,, but when you try to use a password, an apple iOS messenge pops up say in order to use passwords you must set a phone lock code.

Any password for any reason wont be accessible from stored passwords unless you have a lock on the device.

It changed with an Apple IOS update.

That would be the solution IF it worked. It doesn’t work since the last update. iPad Pro. IOS 14.3

COME ON APPLE! This so needs to be fixed! I don’t need a passcode for my phone, it’s just a hassle every time you go to log in to the phone.

I want it the way it was, where I could use the saved pass code list. This made it a pain to use my ipad, and have to use my computer instead, to pay bills, shop, etc... What’s the point of having the ipad, if you make it difficult to login on websites and the like?

If apple doesn’t fixed this soon, I’m getting rid of this ipad, and getting something without IOS.

Same thing is happening to me. Ever since I updated my phone I can’t use Password Autofill without setting a Passcode and it’s driving me crazy

Its any and all browser,,,, deleting works because they are not there any more to use.

I want to use password,,, IOS is preventing it,,, not the browser
