I am trying to update new software update on my Ipad but it's showing the charging cable screen, so please let me know how can I restart ?

I am trying to update the software update, but now it showing an error and cannot restart, please advise how can i restart my device ?

You need to plug your iPad into a computer with iTunes installed and restore it to get it going again. If you have a Mac with Catalina installed then it won't need iTunes as you'll be able to pull it up in finder. Anything prior to that will need iTunes. Also if you have a PC it will need to have iTunes installed on it and you'll have to work with the iPad through iTunes to get it restored.

You’ll need to follow the procedures detailed here:

If you see the Restore screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


If the Restore screen appeared immediately after the update, connecting your iPad to a PC (with iTunes installed) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS), you may find that selecting Update instead of Restore might successfully complete the update.
