Downloaded fake flash

After accidentally downloading flash player about 20 days ago, safari appears to have slowed down and chrome uses yahoo .Also, when ever I try to log into apple support, a warning showing that a device is trying to connect to my account from a location I'm not in appears. How can I resolve this issue?

Downloading the fake Flash wouldn’t do anything. Did you launch it and let it install? If so you should go and get Malwarebytes. It is the go-to app here for finding and removing malware. The free version will let you manually scan and remove the bad stuff.

If you suspect you have installed adware/malware:

>System Preferences>Profiles. found next to Accessibility (click into it and then remove all the suspicious things from the list.)

This Preference pane may not be present if no profiles found.

Adware Removal Guide—Manual removal of : http://www.thesafemac.com/arg-identification/

also Verify you are not using SOCKS proxy:

>System Preferences>Networks>Advanced>Proxy uncheck the box

Adware/malware launch daemons can set SOCKS proxies without user participation.

(SOCKS is an Internet protocol that exchanges network packets between a client and server through a proxy server.)
