Perhaps that app's manufacturer needs to update their app.

As already stated, if the issue happens with that app only, perhaps the manufacturer needs to release an update that meet iOS 14 or later requirements. This is their support page:--> https://www.cox.com/residential/support/home.html?kana-search-keyword=contour+2+app&search-all-within=all
