Apple Care Theft Protection for Macbook Pro

I just purchased a new Macbook Pro with AppleCare, but am trying to confirm whether or not my coverage includes protection against theft along with the accidental damage. I spoke to an Apple representative who directed me to checkmycoverage.apple.com, which confirmed my enrollment, but I still could not find anything specifically mentioning theft. I saw on another area of apple.com that this is standard with policies connected to iPhones, but not necessarily with the notebook computers. When I tried to see if I was eliglble to purchase any add-ons to my AppleCare policy, the website told me I was not after entering my serial number. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is possible or if I do in fact need to look elsewhere for that additional protection?

Applecare PLUS does not provide Theft insurance. Use your homeowners or renters insurance for coverage. You may need to pay an additional modest premium for this coverage.

DO NOT IGNORE setting up "Find My Mac" NOW -- You can not do it After your Mac disappears:

Set up Find My on your iPhone, Mac, AirPods, or other devices - Apple Support

Also, if your Mac is stolen there is a possibility you may not get it back in one piece. A good disaster recovery plan needs to include Disk-Based backup such as Time machine backup.

Thank you for your replies. One more question about my recent AppleCare purchase. I could have sworn one of the Apple reps I spoke to or somewhere along the line during my new Macbook / AppleCare purchase I recall hearing or seeing that I was also going to be getting a complimentary 1-year subscription to Apple TV+, but I can't find any info about it in the documentation related to my transaction. Anyone know anything about how to redeem this if it exists?
