Hi EasyDoes,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We're here for you.

It sounds like you have created content and attached it to email or text messages. The content or attachments that you create and send will not be deleted from your iPhone automatically unless you set your preferences in Mail or Messages to do so. But you can choose to delete them if you wish to free up space on your device.

Remember to protect your data by keeping a recent backup of your iPhone and archiving your iCloud Data.

Here are a few resources to help you with this:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud

Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Find attachments from a conversation

  1. "Open the message.
  2. Tap the name of the contact at the top of the message, then tap the Info button
  3. You'll see Photos and Links. Touch and hold an image or attachment to show options like Save, Copy, Share, and Delete.

To save an attachment outside of Messages, tap the attachment, tap the Share button , then select an option like Save Image or Save to Files. When you tap Save Image, it saves it to your Photos app."

Work with email attachments on iPhone - iPhone User Guide

"See emails with attachments

  2. Tap “Filtered by,” then turn on “Only Mail with Attachments.”

You can also use the Attachments mailbox, which shows emails with attachments from all accounts. To view it, tap Mailboxes at the top left, tap Edit above the Mailboxes list, then select Attachments."
