Apple TV 4K sound skips after playing Dolby Atmos

I’ve seen this problem all over but have not seen a solution for it yet. Here is my set up just like what seems to be everyone else’s with this problem:

Apple TV 4K (tvOS 14)

LG OLED CX (03.10.41)

Belkin UltraHD High Speed 4K HDMI Cable (2m)

PROBLEM:

The sound works perfectly until you play Dolby Atmos content. After that, the sound will mute every quarter second consistently. on the televisions information menu, “PCM” blinks on and off in sync with the sound issue.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:

Performing a soft reset all the TV solves the issue until Dolby Atmos content is played again.

Performing a soft reset on the Apple TV 4K does not solve the issue.

Switching the television settings to PCM only does not solve the issue.

Switching Apple TV 4K sound formatting to Dolby 5.1 after performing a soft reset on the television solves the issue even after playing Dolby Atmos capable content.

I have reproduced this issue with another Apple TV 4K and LG OLED CX.

I’ve pretty much run out of ideas on how to fix this issue. Any help would be appreciated!
