Hi. How can I save a video from files to my camera roll?

You can save a video from the iOS or iPadOS files application by doing the following steps:


  • Open the files app on your device and locate the video
  • Open (tap on) the video so that it appears in full screen
  • Look for the share button (the square with the arrow pointing upwards) - on iOS it’s located in the bottom left, on iPadOS you’ll find it on the top right
  • In the sharing menu search for the command “Save Video” - this will save your video to the photos app / camera roll (see attached screenshot)
