iPhone 11 overheating

I have always used iPhones and just moved from iPhone 8 to 11 in the past week. The problem is it is overheating and really hot to the touch. I have never experienced this in years with all other models of iPhones. Any ideas? Nothing has changed in my usage

I have made sure that I am running the latest IOS 15.4.1, I have done a factory rest on my phone, I make sure to always clear (swipe up) all my apps so they are never running in the background, I keep the screen brightness pretty low and am still having issues with my phone being hot to the touch.

iphone overheating The overheating problem is not limited to the larger iPhone 12s. I bought an iPhone 12 Mini, and it gets very hot. It is quite hot even when not being charged and not in use. Is Apple responding to this problem? What are my options?
