Why does my wireless charger not working

Here are a few possibilities:

• It’s broken
• It’s wrong side up
• It isn’t plugged in
• The cable between the power source and the wireless charger is defective or the connections aren’t fully seated
• Your phone has too thick a case
• Your phone case has a magnetic closure
• Your phone has a metal plate on the back such as might be used with a magnetic mount
• Your phone has pockets on the back such as might hold credit cards, and you have a metal card (like an Apple Card)
