how do I block ALL messages from those NOT in my contacts?

Tired of political fund raisers 800 type messaging. How do I block ALL messages except from those in my contacts?

go to Settings

turn on Filter Unknown Senders

then

go to Messages

click on Filters on the upper left corner

select Known Senders

this will now show only messages from your contacts.
