Iphone 3g antenna issues.

I always thought my iPhone dropping calls was a fluke...however www.apple.com/antenna seems to insist that every phone, including the 3g and 3gs have antenna issues. I think it's great that Apple is offering free cases to fix the antenna issues for the iPhone 4, so I was just wondering if anyone knew when we can expect free cases for our 3g/3gs'.

good question, but I think it should be "When can we expect to have our iphone WIFI cards/antennae fixed?" It is an appalling situation (the sudden malfunction of 3G, 3GS) that Apple will not, or cannot, do anything about except offer a reconditioned phone for $200 and a 3month guarantee!!!! if this were happening in the car (or other 'machine') industry, there would be riots.
