Good afternoon mevi112,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you are not able to find your right AirPod playing a sound from Find My app.

Which AirPod model do you have?

What iPhone model do you have, and what iOS is running on it?

The resources below will help you address this issue. Key information is highlighted for you below. Click the links for complete details.

How to find your lost AirPods

"Play a sound

If your AirPods are near any of your Apple devices and connected to Bluetooth, you can play a sound to help you find them from iCloud.com or the Find My app. Your AirPods play a sound that gets gradually louder for two minutes, or until you tell them to stop.

  1. Open the Find My app.
  2. Select the Devices tab.
  3. Choose your AirPods from the list.
  4. Tap Play Sound.

Make sure that you remove the AirPods from your ears before you play a sound.

If your AirPods are separated from each other, you see only one location at a time on the map. Find the AirPod that you see on the map and put it in its case. Then refresh the map and find the other one.

If your AirPods are offline

If you see "No location found" under your AirPods, you can't play a sound to find them but you might be able to get directions to the location where they were last connected. If your AirPods do come back online, you'll get a notification on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch you use them with.

Find My is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you.

If you're using a Managed Apple ID assigned to you by a school or institution, you don’t have access to Find My."

AirPods Service and Repair

"Did you lose an AirPod or your Charging Case?

You can buy a replacement for a left or right AirPod or the Charging Case.

Your replacement will be new.

See the replacement fees in the chart, below. AppleCare+ for Headphones does not cover lost or stolen AirPods."

Take care.
