Weather widget always showing Cupertino

The location setting for the Weather widget in new iPadOS14 is always showing Cupertino. I searched here and did what the user lakmis suggested at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7692711?login=true but it didn’t help. I later found out that if I press on the widget, I can change the location to “My Location” but it is still not working. Any suggestions? Please the screenshots of what I am seeing

Found this and it worked for me!

  1. Long press weather widget
  2. when it shows a drop down menu, click “ edit widget”
  3. Choose “ my location” option

I also made sure I had added my location to the list: click the widget and it takes you to a bigger screen, with a list button in the bottom right corner. I added my location there and that helped!
