pairing watch

I am trying to connect my watch back to my phone. When I did the new update it kicked my watch off and not I keep getting a no internet alert and I'm on the wifi.

Delete watchOS 6.2.8 and install the latest watchOS 7.

Sorry no, watchOS 7 will not work on Watch Series 1 & 2.

Are both iPhone & Watch connected to power and Wi-Fi?
