I have a brand new MacBook Air and as I am sitting in the airport I am realizing that my Mac will not allow me to turn airplay on. This seems to make absolutely no sense to me. Why say this is an option and build the laptop to not allow it?! What's going on with this and what can I do to fix it??

What do you see when clicking the AirPlay icon?
So the icon doesn’t show up so I went to displays and tried to turn airplay on and the little drop down only has off as an option.
