Apple Watch Series 6 USA cellular version should work in India

Will the Series 6 cellular apple watch bought in USA work in India?

I don't see why not but wanted to get confirmations (some people mentioned eSIM requirements in another thread but that also is already used by Indian operators)...

Cellular networks in India are available in both LTE-Band-3 1800 Mhz FD-LTE and LTE-Band-40 2300 Mhz TD-LTE (eg. Reliance Jio & Airtel)

And Apple watch Series-6 is listed to work with both the above Band-3 1800 Mhz FD-LTE & Band-40 2300 Mhz TD-LTE

Yes that's the page I already linked in my original post. But what I was saying was that the active bands in India are all supported by the USA watch.

However, the potential issue could be in the US watch eSIM not being able to read/write data from the networks in India (although assuming eSIM itself is standardized, this should not be the case, not sure)

Overall I suspect it more to be a software restriction than a technical one (ie. maybe Apple wants to sell to different markets separately & not officially provide any universal solution) but maybe there's a way to work around software restrictions or maybe there aren't any actual restrictions either & if someone tries it out, it may just work.

Waiting for some data/info on that
