need date on apple watch
Why is the date no longer an option to be displayed on the Apple Watch? A great option is now gone. Can it be brought back?

Bob, you are a genius. Thanks so much! I was almost distraught that I couldn't show the day/date on my watch after doing the latest update. Especially during Covid! Never know what day or date it is.
I just read what to do in other posts to these forums. Someone else figured it out.

The app is now on my watch, that worked good. The date is no longer displayed on the face of the watch.
Install the Apple Calendar app
If you have the Apple Calendar app installed, uninstall it, then re-install it.
I had same problem. I reinstalled the Apple calendar and then I was able to add the date to my Watch face.
