Ever since I upgraded to iOS 14, my iPhone does not show the geotag location at the top of each picture. Only the date and time it was taken. My camera settings are correct and my location settings are accurate, but it won’t show the location on the photos. The photos I have that were taken before installing iOS 14 show the location and geotag still. But any picture taken since the upgrade does not show the location.
There is no solution at the moment. Apple knows the issue, involve iOs and iPadOs 14.0 and 14.0.1. You can call them or leave an official feedback using the website feedbackassistant.apple.com
I have the same frustrating problem. When I take a photo with my iPhone 11, the location is clearly seen but when the photo appears on my iPad there is no location shown. This only happened after I upgraded to iOS14 on both iPhone and iPad. Come on Apple fix this obvious bug!
I hope Apple could fix this issue asap. In the first 14.2 beta, the problem still remains.
I also noticed that the new photos are not shown in search tab..i really hope it ll be fixed soon.
Is the same issue of the geotag. They know it but there is no fix for that, in this moment.
Looks like it might be fixed. Noticed my photos started to show the tags yesterday
I just tried my iPhone 7 that has iOS 14.0.1 and it still is not geotagging photos. I am still running iOS 13.7 on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the geotags pop up immediately after snapping a photo. I am going to stick with iOS 13.7 on my iPhone 11 Pro Max until this issue with iOS 14 is completely resolved.
I confirm that the issue is not still resolved at this moment by Apple.

I saw the location in the title for some of my imported photos from yesterday, only for photos that have been taken in National Parks. It may be specific for some locations.
A photo taken in Yellowstone Park is now showing the location, a Photo taken in Tanzania, a photo taken in Spain, but no photos taken in the cities.
I just checked the photos on my albums taken worldwide, no one of them have the geotag. Also the new photos, taken from yesterday til 1 hour ago, haven’t geotag. I hope Apple fix the bug asap.
Well I'm starting to think it's not a bug, but another amazing "inovation" from Apple...I mean iOS 14 is 2 weeks old and they cant fix something that worked well since iOS 10..C'mon it's just not serious. And of course 13.7 is not signed anymore.... Another great move by Apple. I just can't understand why they removed somethig so useful

I hope it’s a bug. Apple told me this is a known issue.
It is hard to say, if "known issue" means a bug or an inconvenient new feature. We'll have to wait and see. Let's hope for the best.
