Ever since I upgraded to iOS 14, my iPhone does not show the geotag location at the top of each picture. Only the date and time it was taken. My camera settings are correct and my location settings are accurate, but it won’t show the location on the photos. The photos I have that were taken before installing iOS 14 show the location and geotag still. But any picture taken since the upgrade does not show the location.
Me too. How come the fix takes so long?
Yes, the geotag takes over 20hours to show up. I took pictures at 10am yesterday and kept checking the geotag of those photos and The geotag only showing at about 8am today. But at leasr it works even though no instantly. Thank you Apple Support Team !

Indeed this feature is ill-featured. And I'm glad (but not happy) to see I am not the only one, or am doing or not doing something incredibly obvious.
I did let Apple know of this and told them, had I known, I would stayed back in the primitive forests iOS 13.

I talked with Apple Support and this issue is now fixed on my IPhone 11 Pro, OS 14.01
You have to go into Privacy again, and then toggle the Location off and then back on. Then the camera icon will now appear under Privacy, so then click on Camera, then select allow location while using device. That fixed it. Before the Camera icon wasn't appearing under Privacy. So, toggling location off and then on again somehow reset it.
This did not work for me, but you see the camera icon but it’s still not Geo tagging

The full geotag has not been restored. The location is not precise in the title
my iphone is on IOS14.2, turned off/on the precise location on privacy settings in the camera as told, nothing
Not updating mi ipad to IOS 14 ever...
I updated both our phones and iPads to 14.2. Geotags are back. Hooray.

The Geotag is not fully restored. My photos that before 2018 are still missing the geotag.
Some of my older pictures-before 2015 also didn’t show geotags. But when I selected an older pic that didn’t show the geotag, if I clicked on show in maps and show nearby photos, the geotags showed up for all the pics in that area. Clumsy but better than nothing.
OMG I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE! They all appear as “Home” when I nowhere near my house. The issue fixed itself in the way that when I took an actual photo at my house, the locations away from home didn’t say home, but just didn’t have a location at all. Some did, however, which is rather odd.
I think the problem has been resolved. Just downloaded iOS 14.2 and photos now have locations at top of each picture although the photos taken immiediately after iOS 14.0 was downloaded only have the country they were taken in at the top. Hopefully that will change?
