Geotag on photos not working since iOS 14 upgrade.

Ever since I upgraded to iOS 14, my iPhone does not show the geotag location at the top of each picture. Only the date and time it was taken. My camera settings are correct and my location settings are accurate, but it won’t show the location on the photos. The photos I have that were taken before installing iOS 14 show the location and geotag still. But any picture taken since the upgrade does not show the location.

Ironically this string just updated with the Nov 25 reply about 14.02. I did want to mention my iPad Pro has never stopped providing the location at the top of all pictures in my photo stream/iCloud with the pictures I have taken with my phone. But my iPhone 11 Pro Max has not (today is Nov 25) even though I’ve updated to 14.02.

Glad to know Apple and all of the community is on this as the location has often helped me “prove” some fact that was necessary to accomplish business.

After upgrading my iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14.2 does NOT capture the geotag, but only shows the map display below the photo. My work iPhone 7 will capture the geotag, but it is just a very general title. Instead of displaying the exact precise location it just shows the city name and state. This happens even with 'Precise Location' turned ON. I still think this is a iOS 14 problem that Apple is unable to figure out or still in the process of trying to figure out. Hopefully iOS 14.2.1 -OR- iOS 14.3 will correct this issue.

Hope they get it right because all I did was download IOS 14.2 on my 11 Pro Max, shutdown for about 3+ minutes, reboot and they started Geo tagging and labeling the location. First I made sure all my tagging was set as per the above notes (camera and location settings) and viola, it started working. Hope you get there because it is frustrating.

This is still not properly fixed... after I loaded 14.2 geotags started reappearing but many show "Great Britain" or "Scotland" (very helpful!)... my wife's 2019 photos of the Taj Mahal show "Taj Mahal" (she is still on iOS 13.x) whilst mine now show "Agra".... and when I took a photo yesterday it showed no location on my iPad/iPhone BUT the airdropped photo showed the precise location on an old iPad which is still on iOS 12.4
