How do i clear old data or transfer it to be saved on a different device & then let my nephew have my old phone?

Well, there are two main steps to perform, starting from:--> Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

(choosing the method more convenient for you)

When done, prepare your old iPhone for your nephew following these instructions:--> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
