Does macOS support 144hz external displays

I am thinking of getting 2 1440p 144hz displays for my new MacBook pro. I can't find if this is supported.

No one here works for Apple so this is not a confirmation but the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 integrated graphics does support 1440x900, the refresh should be up to the monitor but depending on what you're doing it could run a bit hotter than normal use w/o the displays.
