Battery goes to 5% battery in minutes

My macbook pro from mid-2018 goes from 100% battery to 5% battery in maybe 10 minutes while it's plugged in. When it hits 5%, everything starts moving very slowly. I checked the battery condition and it's normal. Any idea how to fix this?

I would start with an SMC reset:

Be sure to check if your MBP has the T2 security chip. Instructions are in the article.


After that, try using the charger on a right-hand side port.
