Font Downloads

I have a 1 year old IPad Pro 11. Just a few days ago there was a software update that I completed. I just tried to download a free font from Dafont.com called ‘The Skinny’ by Jusebox. I made sure it was a free font that could be used for personal use. I went through all the steps including going into settings and completing those steps as well. However when I go into the general tab located in settings, then click on fonts it says no fonts are downloaded on this iPad. I have had previous fonts that had been downloaded, they were listed there and I have used them multiple times over the years. Now none of them are showing. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or how I can correct this? I’m not sure if the current software update created this issue or not.
