Pink and green vertical lines

Is this the pink and green line of doom or is this fixable? This just randomly appeared. It hasn’t been dropped or anything. It’s very much looked after and loved.

Safe Mode turns off a LOT of functionality in the GPU, only the very bare minimum is used. If your Mac has two GPUs (i.e., integrated and discrete), the discrete GPU is used exclusively but accelerated graphics are turned off.

If you have the time, it may be worth a clean install of macOS as the GB will likely ask you if you've tried it. If your data is backed up, it wouldn't hurt, and your personal data will be wiped in case it has to go in for service (win-win).
