I have a new Apple TV 4K, the software says it’s up to date. I am trying to mirror/share the tv show I have download on my iPhone/iPad in the Disney+ and Amazon app. I can get it to mirror right up to when the video is supposed to play. Then I get an error message stating something like “Oh No!”.
I have seen suggested elsewhere to reset, and that did not work.
Not all content is available for Airplay. Please ensure the providers you mention allow the use of Airplay.
In addition, if you are a subscriber to Disney + and Amazon Prime, why aren't you watching the content via your Apple TV 4K using the Disney + app and the Amazon Prime app?
It does look like they support Airplay based on prior research, but I cannot seem to get the downloaded material to play.
My internet at home is terrible and data limited. That’s why I would prefer to be able to download on a device while out (at the gym, library, etc) and then be able to watch at home.
Then your internet is likely the problem. Content is designed for streaming with an Apple TV which means you cannot record it. However if there is content you can record on your device while at the gym then it should be able to be streamed from your iPhone or iPad to the Apple TV. But the network connection inside the home must be good and you must have adequate bandwidth to send the data. Normally this is not a problem if you put the device near the Apple TV,
