I have an LG tv and I have always been able to Screen Mirror my iPad 10.2. I haven’t changed any settings on either pieces of equipment but when I open screen mirroring my tv isn’t there to mirror. I continue to be able to play sound music through the LG tv but not any screen.

It appears that you're having a problem mirroring the screen of your iPad to your LG TV. There's been no changes to either device, and we're glad to help with this.
If you can't use AirPlay or mirror your device's screen - Apple Support -- Apple anticipated that some may have problems. This article should help.
