I have an iPhone XS Max (iOS 14) and whenever I swipe down from the bottom dock, my Home Screen goes into half a screen. Does anyone else experience this? It happened before iOS 14 too. I thought it might of been just a glitch so I reset my phone, but it still does it. It’s not really a major glitch, just kind of annoying because I have to tap the top arrow to go back into full screen.

That makes me feel good about my expertise. Reachability is not new. May be Apple Support agents are not aware of the old features. If you tap on the blur area you can make the screen full again.
I find reachability very convenient.

THANK YOU lol 😂 this has been driving me nuts for awhile! Even Apple Chat Support didn’t know what I was talking about even with the Screen Shot and thought I was crazy 🤪
Hi, this is not half screen. It's a feature called reachability.
For some people when using iPhone with one hand it is not convenient to touch the top part of the screen(let's say the phone screen is big compared to the hand).
Reachability allows you to bring down the top content so it is reachable to you when using phone with one hand.
