Multitasking while videoconferencing, Facetime, Zoom, Skype on Ipad

I have noticed two major limitations of ipadOS 13 and I was wondering if those issues have been fixed in ipados 14?

Firstly, picture in picture video call seems to be only available on Facetime. This means that I cannot take notes during a Zoom call without my video stopping. In the current COVID situation when all my social life takes place in those calls, this is a major limitation. It is one of the few instances when I cannot avoid using my computer.

Secondly, the ipad currently does not seem to allow playing music or videos from two different sources. This means, that I cannot watch videos without sound while playing music for example.

Is there any workaround? Should the ipad users expect a fix soon?
