privacy warning on WiFi
The message “privacy warning”appears by the WiFi. And it says the network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. What does that mean and how do I fix it?
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14

I am still seeing it on 14.0.1 unfortunately.
It seems it is related to DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) and DNS-over-TLS (DoT). I am not sure if the Netgear Nighthawk RAX200 or ASUS ZenWiFi AX Tri-Band supports either of them. It would be nice if Apple got back in the router business. The Airports were just so easy to set up and kept up to date.

I am seeing the same
Called my IP, they have no idea about this
Same for me. Any solution to get rid of this. It also see my calls dropping frequently when on wifi.
your WiFi router is not set to or does not support secure DNS.
Contact the manufacturer of your router to see if your router supports it and how to turn it on.
Just a thought / question:
Could this also be that the DNS to which he’s pointing doesn’t support secure DNS ?
After I updated my software on General Settings. It is now gone. You can try it as well. 😊
How did you update?
Thank you this worked for me all warnings were gone. 14.01 fixed the issue
Yes when I updated to iOS 14.01 the message went away.
thanks
Thanks for the reply.
FWIW, I'm still voluntarily running 13.7
I'm happy to let all my apps "catch-up" w/ Apple before I make the jump to iOS 14.x
Read in a recent news that the issues still persist and soon a new update might roll out.
