emails saying my iCloud account will be down graded

Are you sure this email was from Apple? Did it offer a link to 'upgrade' your iClohd? (If it did, DO NOT follow it.) Did it come from some domain with the word 'apple' in it somewhere as opposed to app[e.com? Does it contain any spelling mistakes? those are common giveaways. The fact that yo0u'ver, sensiblie, contacted Apple directly and your payments are OK suggests that this is a scam email.
