Change when an Activity “Day” begins and ends?

Hello. I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the timeframe that’s monitored — as in when the Activity “day” begins and ends. I work the overnight shift (6:30pm to 7:30am) as a nurse at the hospital, and I sleep during the day.

Since the actual calendar day rolls at midnight, which is right in the middle of my day, I end up with my goals tracking inconveniently and inaccurately split between two calendar days.

Also, due to the skewed timeframe, often the app thinks it needs to remind me to ‘hurry up and move more....there’s still time!!!’ (paraphrasing here) when in reality my day is just beginning. Or say I inadvertently go to bed with the watch on, well then it’ll want me to ‘stand up more!’ in the middle of the day. A fair enough request, except unfortunately the only time the app mentions it is when I’m sleeping.

I’d appreciate any ideas! Thanks!

Afaik, it’s not a feature build into the OS.

one workaround might be to setup your watch in a time zone 6 hours off, but I think the watch will simply override thar setup.

if it’s possible to do, then you can change your watch face to show “world clock” with your time zone as main feature.

if you want to turn off “stand up” reminder, you can access that setting on your phone via the watch app > activity

Apple's day is from midnight to midnight, this is written in stone and is not changeable, there maybe a 3rd party app that does what you require, have a look in the app stores.
