Thanks for the update. Since it is isolated to one app you can try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it and trying again.

Just completed the new update. Still says I have to connect to internet.. I have checked everything

After reviewing your post, it seems like there is another apps that is saying it is not connected to the internet. You can troubleshoot the Wi-Fi connectivity and test if the issue persists.
