How to change a wire connected keyboard from AZERTY to QUERTY ?

Hi, I have a keyboard that is connected to my iPad by an adapter. It is an Azerty keyboard. But when I write with it, on the iPad it switches to an QWERTY so if I type azerty on the keyboard it types : qwerty on the iPad . How can I change this?
