spotlight issue

I just upgraded to 10.15.7 (19H2) Catalina and my spotlight freezes everytime i use it, anyone else had this issue? How can I fix this?

Trouble with the spotlight after updating to Catalina 10.15.3 Hi, there is something wrong with the spotlight after I updated my 16-in Macbook Pro to Catalina 10.15.3 yesterday. Apps and webpages searching shows up immediately, but when it comes to folders and files the searching needs at least 1 min and a crazy CPU load! I have tested all of the advice I could find on google like re-indexing, restarting........ but none works for me. Is anyone struggling with the same problem?

Spotlight doesn't work Hello everyone, If this question was already answered please direct me to the solution. At some point Spotlight stoped responding, the icon is in the menu but is not responding when pressed, Command + Space is not working. However Spotlight in Finder and Launchpad is fine. Also if loged in as a Guest user everything works. Please help find a solution. current MacOS: 13.5.2 (22G91)

Hi,

My MacBook Pro 13inch Mid 2012 Catalina 10.15.7 doesn't have any trouble of Spotlight.

Start up in Safe Mode then normal boot could solve the issue.
