My Apple watch series 6 will not turn off. If I continue to hold the crown in, only Siri appears. I can never get to the 3 screen choices that should appear.

My Apple Watch series 6, will not turn off. Holding in the crown only calls up Siri. Continuing to hold it never gets me to the "3 choices" screen list. I have no problems with the old Series 5. What's going on? I tried resetting the watch and that did not help.

iPhone 6s, iOS 12

You should long press the Side button and not the digital crown to power OFF an Watch.
