Reinstall the macOS Anew:

1. Perform as Instructed Here: What to do before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your Mac - Apple Support


2. Then, Format the Disk:

Use: Shift-Option-⌘-R to format the macOS that came with your Mac, or the closest version still available. Go Here:

Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support
