Nothing works with iMessage

I switched iPhones,now every time i open iMessages i get a notification saying I’ve been signed out but when i go to settings and try ‘send and receive’ option I’m only seeing my number no email and with the number it won’t log in, I’ve been trying different things....I’ve googled for a month now and nothing works help please😢
