Apple Watch series 2 is stuck on the activation screen.
iPhone7 on iOS 14
Apple Watch series 2 is on 5.3.8
I have:
-factory reset watch.
-Unpaired and paired watch numerous times.
-updated iOS on phone
nothing seems to be working. Can someone help?
I can’t get passed this step in the setup.

I had gone over this article a number of times with no luck.
I stumbled across a solution which was found on some random site advising that the series 2 watch only uses 2G
i was originally connecting using 5G.
once I switched WiFi networks everything was able to progress to setup.
