Subscription problem

So I've just bought a MacBook Air and supposingly 1 year of free trial Apple TV comes along with it. However I can only access it through my iPhone not my Mac. Any idea why? I've restart the app and Mac several times but its still not working.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

You have to sign in to the Apple TV app on the Mac (menu: Account), with the same Apple ID as used for the subscription.
