Why can I no longer preview songs in the iTunes store?
This was previously answered in 2018 but now the MacOS "Music" app has its own tab for "iTunes Store" and the store doesn't seem to want to play previews.

In the old days, I would click on a music track and it would play an excerpt. Perhaps it still does so, but it wasn't working when I tried it. I clicked on the track's "play" button and got the spinner for about a minute before I gave up. Same results for other "play" buttons. I don't work with iTunes very often so perhaps it was just a temporary problem. Hard to tell the difference between a momentary hiccup and a flaw when you use something rarely. Maybe someday it will work again.
