Upgrade from Darwin??
Is it possible to upgrade a Mac OS X 10.6.8 (10K549) from Darwin 10.8.0 to a newer operating system? If so, how do I do it?? It is a 2011 MacBook with an Intel Core 2 Duo and 1.83 GHz processor speed. Thanks!

I don't see that model in macTracker app. There are air & pro models.
How much ram do you have? If your machine allows I suggest maxing out the ram. I'd give macSales a call.

You should have the app store app. It came with 10.6.8.
Open the app store app. It should have a messaging suggesting you upgrade to the latest allowed macOS. Or you can do a search for macOS.
