We understand you're not seeing the Mirror Front Camera option on your iPhone X, and we'd like to share a resource that can help.

Specifically, take a look at this section:
"Mirror the front camera
To take a mirrored selfie that captures the shot as you see it in the camera frame, go to Settings > Camera, then turn on Mirror Front Camera (on supported models)."
Since this option is only available for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and later, this would be why you aren't seeing it on your iPhone X.
