I don’t have to backup my phone but it won’t let me update to iOS 14 when it says I’m up to date on my updates with the iOS 13.7
Why won’t the update happen even though I’m up to date on all my backups

Did you participate in the iOS 13 BETA Program? Do you have the iOS 13 BETA Profile still installed on your iPhone? If YES then delete the iOS 13 BETA Profile and reboot.
To delete the profile, Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Profiles : Here you will see the iOS 13 Profile to delete.
Then try updating to iOS 14 again.
