I looked at different websites for this and they all have 13 colors that are like bright and pretty, but I only have seven on my phone and laptop. other people have different color options but I don’t. how do I receive those. thank you

The color options vary depending on the current iOS version installed on your iPhone. On iOS 14 or later, there are 12 colors you can use along with the type of icon image you'd like to include. To see these options go to the Reminder app on the main page (where you see the lists) > Select Edit at the top right > then the 'i' next to the Reminder List you wish to edit. Here you'll see 12 options for iOS 14. Select the color and icon style and then tap 'Done' to confirm the changes: Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you don't have iOS 14 (and using a supported device), then we'd suggest to back up anything important, and get updated: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Test it out after updating and following those steps. Should it persist, tell us more about the options you see when editing these Lists in the Reminders app.
