"Unknown Error Occurred" after updating to the newest version of Catalina Sept 25th 2020

Hey Everyone,

I have been talking to Apple support for 3 straight days. I have tried pretty much everything and still cannot log into my iCloud account.

In my main account, I cannot log in to iCloud via system preferences, the app store, or iTunes. I can log into all of them via Safari, my iPhone, my iPad, and when creating a new user account on my Mac fine.

I cannot log in in safe mode. I have reinstalled Catalina twice, restarted my computer after every change I try and I cannot log in. I removed "profiles" in my system preferences and still can't log in. I removed login items, can't log in.

I looked for a corrupted accounts issue, moved all of the accounts4.sqlite files out of the Verified Folder, restarted, and I still get that **** error!!!

This has happened in the past when I updated the OS and I usually don't do they update for months after it comes out hoping they recognized the problem and fix it before I update.

I need my account back... any other ideas? I am not tech savvy so please don't rip me apart and if you have a more tech savvy suggestion could you do a step by step for dummies please? I appreciate your candor.

Best.
