My watch is tracking more steps then the health app shows for the watch.

I noticed the discrepancy starting friday. Each day (Fri,Sat,Sun) showed >10,000 steps on the watch by the end of day. But the health app shows significantly lower numbers, even allowing overnight to account for time delays in syncing....

I did move the watch to the top of the data surce list and did also update and reboot the watch OS last night 09/27 (phone is also on iOS 14, updated (09/21)).
