WHy does my exercise ring not move on my walk or other exercises from time to time

You need to be sure your heart rate is over 100bpm. If your heart rate isn’t getting that high, you can choose “other” as the activity, and that will log your time as exercise minutes. Ultimately, the goal is to keep your heart rate over 100 though.
